Description

This is an experiment. The betting volume will determine the outcome, but there's a twist. If an option receives the most volume, the option to the right of it will "win".

Decision Logic

Here's how it works:
If A gets the most volume, the outcome will be B
If B gets the most volume, the outcome will be C
If C gets the most volume, the outcome will be A

If A and B tie for most volume, the outcome will be C. If B and C tie for most volume, the outcome will be A. If A and C tie for most volume, the outcome will be B. If A, B, and C have equal volume, the outcome will be A.

B has the highest volume, so the outcome is C.

Can we do it with color coating to confirm :) A is red B yellow C green
donaldtrump 4:01AM, Jul 8, 2014 UTC
Thanks. That helps.

No - 3% is the vig for all bets. BetMoose will take 2-2.5% and the host gets 0.5-1% (depending on reputation). So technically, your 'host bets' are cheaper as out of the 3% fee on them, you get 0.6% back in commissions! :)
donaldtrump 3:13AM, Jul 8, 2014 UTC
I assumed 3% goes to Betmoose and 0.6% goes to the bet's host, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just curious - where did you get 3.6% from? The cut is 3% - this is the same regardless of which side you're on. Also Sukrim - what prevents someone else from betting 20.01 BTC on B/C afterwards? It cannot be 'whaled' any more than a Yes/No volume bet. Though yes, this is prone to 'whaling' as it seems to now be known..
donaldtrump 2:41AM, Jul 8, 2014 UTC
Yes, but you'll be giving away 3.6% to fees, unless there are enough other bets to make up for it.
Sukrim 2:01AM, Jul 8, 2014 UTC
This can easily be "whaled" by betting e.g. 20 BTC on A and 10 BTC on B. You win back the 20 BTC from A anyways.
julian-marty 2:10AM, Jul 7, 2014 UTC
not necessarily, although u may want to bet another option so your other option is more likely. That's just whacked
donaldtrump 2:08AM, Jul 7, 2014 UTC
Not necessarily. You could bet once, then other people's votes could determine that your bet is a winner.
Psynapse 1:51AM, Jul 7, 2014 UTC
You need to bet more than once to win?
julian-marty 1:33AM, Jul 7, 2014 UTC
Thumbs up to the donald

If A and B tie for most volume, the outcome will be C. If B and C tie for most volume, the outcome will be A. If A and C tie for most volume, the outcome will be B. If A, B, and C have equal volume, the out come will be A.

Oh boy, here we go... hey what if there's a tie for most?
