Description

What will be the ending silver price per ounce of silver on December 31? We will be going off of the chart at http://www.kitco.com/charts/livesilver.html which lists and ending price (NY END) of each day. Correctly guess the end day of Dec. 31 and the winner is the one who bids closest WITHOUT going over.

Based off the silver chart http://www.kitco.com/charts/livesilver.html the winner is the closest to the actual price for end day Dec 31 without going over

That is correct. The winner is the final price without going over. Another way to look at it is if th eoptions were $15.55 and $1. If you bet on $15.55 and I bet $1 and the final price is $15.54, I would win with my $1 bet even though you are $0.01 off the price. Have you seen the Game Show in the USA "The Price is Right?" That is the way they try and come closest to the actual price without going over.

Is this correct scenarios One bets "1" and one bets "14", the silver price is 20, so "14" wins because it´s closer. One bets "17.25" and one bets "16.25", the silver price is 10, so the bet is cancelled because both was above?
