Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is the current Emir of Qatar. With the current allegations regarding Qatar supporting terrorism and the Muslim Brotherhood, at least nine nations have so far moved to indefinitely sever ties with Qatar in a variety of ways. Could Qatar be the next Iraq? Will Tamim be removed from power in 2017?

Proposition resolves "yes" if Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is no longer serving as Emir of Qatar for any reason before 11:55 PM EST on December 31st, 2017. Proposition can resolve early. Sources used to resolve this will be mainstream media outlets such as CNN, NBC, etc, and resolution is ultimately at the discretion of the bet host and BetMoose.
