Ah now I see. According to the FAQ, parimutuel bets have the bar appearance and fixed-odds bets have the buckets. Further details provided in the FAQ.

@4diner no.. it was fixed odds. the host receives the bitcoin. Fixed odds doesn't have to have money on each option. odds shown are what you get..
