Description
The 2020 U.S. Presidential race closes on election day Tuesday NOV3, 2020. The elected president becomes the 46th U.S. President if Trump does not win. State voters will select presidential electors who in turn elect a president and vice president through the electoral college.

This proposition mimics the 2016 one by sandhog, which opened before major parties nominated final candiates, and closed shortly before election day.
Decision Logic
Final results with major media announcements of the winner. Without a consensus, such as with the 2000 recount that involved the U.S. Supreme Court, the outcome may be delayed until certain.

It's appalling that so many of you seem to all want the cheat and not wait, while a few of us think this needs to play out fully. MI refused to certify. WI is recounting. I believe PA house voted on recount. AZ Gov said he will not certify without audit(he's legally responsible). NV is seeking to throw the election out due to "inconsistencies" with their local election being thrown out. This isn't even counting the legal cases from Trump's campaign. @p60091 enjoy the movie

@prismspecs The GA "recount" revealed an overcount for Biden of 9k, and 3 sets of 3k votes that were 'misplaced'. The only thing that happened was the local gov certified that vote. There are active suits in that state and essentially if they've been proven to certify fraud-- they will be punished by the law. The certification doesn't stop lawsuits from contesting anything. We're still waiting on that. You're trying to jump the shark and be a dishonest cheat. It's far from over.

@p60091 If you watched the press conf, you would have heard they have evidence that they're not releasing to the public because they're bringing it to the court. We'll have to wait and see. If you wanna just blab and make this your soapbox for your dumb commentary-- I guess everyone has to suffer through it.

@p60091 If you wanna write that in your diary, go for it, but there's a legal process that needs to complete. Just because you don't see a specific verdict or a specific case yet doesn't mean there isn't or won't be one. They've made clear their intentions. It's going to the Supreme Court.

@vegtru they have an affidavit from a Venezuelan expat making this claim “One of (the software’s) most characteristic features is its ability to flip votes. It can set and run an algorithm that probably ran all over the country to take a certain percentage of votes from President Trump and flip them to President Biden.” Compelling stuff.

@vegtru “The Dominion Voting Systems, the Smartmatic technology software, and the software that goes in other computerized voting systems here as well, not just Dominion, were created in Venezuela at the direction of Hugo Chavez to make sure he never lost an election after one constitutional referendum came out the way he did not want it to come out.” This claim is treading on QAnon territory.

Even after a state certifies, the Trump campaign can still submit their case. Even the certification can be challenged-- such as MI, where they were about to certify a vote that they admitted on zoom was only something like 70% accurate (and that their primary was less accurate). I feel like some of you really don't know the depths of the legal processes or the reality of what's happening. But that's okay-- there's a finite amount of time left for the process and we're all awaiting it together.

@p60091 If you watched the press conf they had today, you'd find that they haven't submit all of their cases yet, and that only a handful have been submit officially from the Trump side. The rest are just being lumped as Trump suits by the media when they aren't. The only piece of truth in that article is the MI withdrawal which was due to them refusing to certify-- which was the point of the MI case. But I can understand why you fell for it.

@QWE Clearly you are ignorant, or purposefully ignorant about what's actually happening, and you are clearly trying to rush the bet while it's in your favor. I don't care who you voted for. The bet needs to be done properly. There is no reversal. You clearly don't know what you're talking about, about how betting works, or how the election works. If the states do not certify their votes, what happens? Do you know? Why don't you Google it. We're in for a long ride.

@QWE I am following the news man. They just had a press conference about the cases they can talk about publicly. They said they're still collecting information to submit their official AZ cases. That's how it works. They have time to submit their cases. You and others are conflating 3rd party cases with Trump cases. Do you understand how court cases reach the Supreme Court? They have to go through the correct channels-- which is all still in progress. Trump's team paid 3M to have WI recount.

@vegtru you're still ignoring the decision logic of this vote. You're the one being dishonest. There's nothing pending at the Supreme Court, and I'm following many of the cases and none of the ones still pending will have any effect on vote totals except *maybe* to allow some *uncounted* votes to be counted (which are not enough to change any election). Only GA is recounting. Everything is random audits which is standard, and they're all coming back completely normal. You're actually delusional

There is a metric **** ton of litigation heading towards all of the states that magically stopped counting at the same time and found votes. AZ, NV, GA, PA, VA, MI, WI, even CA. I have a contact in Hawaii who said even they're recounting. While it might seem crazy to you to wait for the courts, that's how it works. You can be dishonest somewhere else @QWE .

@BananaNipples It's not humoring anything. This is waiting for the legal process to finish and complete. Just as GORE 2000 was referenced, this is the same scenario. Gore took 37 days to reverse, with only one state contested. We have many many states LEGALLY contested this time. It all has to play out. You can move on once this whole process finishes. You bet on it-- you should have known the time risk. Just sit tight, keep your panties on, and wait. Maybe don't bet on politics next time.

Why are we even humouring fake news regarding this election? The election is over. Biden has won. There is no way mathematically for any other candidate to win and Trumps lawsuits have almost all been thrown out. At this point we might as well say Kanye has a shot to win the 2020 election. Let's just move on.

@QWE No, this bet is about the NEXT PRESIDENT. It's extremely contested. It needs to play out properly. You shouldn't bet on things you cannot wait to play out. This election is going to the SCOTUS. We knew it might happen and it is. So we wait. 'President Gore' didn't find out until 37 days later. That was just one state. You wanna be dishonest and whine about it some more? That's on you. You cannot collect the bet on the the final outcome before the outcome is reached.

Ironically, you guys should be happy being patient. It's not like the bitcoin is going to down in value. The longer you wait, the more your fiat-equivalent of bitcoin is worth.
