This market will allow betting through election day and in the days after as more results come in, and will only resolve after the winner is clear beyond any reasonable doubt.
Decision Logic
Will Donald Trump be the winner of the 2020 U.S. presidential general election? Yes means he will, no means he will not. No means he will not win reelection for any reason, such as death or resignation. I reserve the right to wait for further official, party, judicial or other relevant announcements, reports or decisions to resolve any ambiguity or uncertainty before the market is settled. Early resolution of this market is possible if the final result is known sooner than the betting deadline.

Decision logic states no hard deadline, it just says that the market can resolve before before the betting deadline (i.e. if Trump concedes prior). And as someone else pointed out - there's no argument for extending any bets ever if the deadline specified is always a hard deadline. If the decision logic states "can needs to happen by y" then that's a hard deadline. But this decision logic doesn't mention that.

@nuobeto as you stated correctly, the host also stated that if Trump seized power by invoking martial law then the market resolves as yes. Trump can do that at any point up until Jan 20th. If anything, that's an indicator that the bet gets called by who is in power at the end of it, not based on the outcome of Jan 6th

@Vegaui The point of this bet is an extended betting opportunity, given that the original markets were settled largely on the 15th of December, on various exchanges, sportsbooks and Betmoose.
The closing and outcome dates for this market has been the electoral college vote (on Jan 6th) for a while now. If Biden is elected on the 6th, there is absolutely zero reason this bet shouldn't be payed out as "No" on the 7th. If people still believe in Trump to be president on the 21st........

@nuobeto Between the 6th and 20th, if something were to happen to cause the election votes to be recounted, and if the recounting resulted in Trump winning, that would be the official election result. If Biden loses the electoral college on the 6th, there is no doubt SCOTUS will be petitioned to intervene and decide whether or not Biden won the election. If SCOTUS dismisses or if SCOTUS decides that Trump won, then it is over.

This is an extended general election market, created because Trump still can win the election in 2020. However, January 6 is it. That is it. The logic states "No means he will not win reelection for any reason, such as death or resignation". That means No only happens if there is no possible way Trump can be elected. Any kind of delay in the electoral process occurring on 1/6 means this has to be extended. Even if Biden is selected on 1/6, there are still remaining ways Trump can win.

@nuobeto If the election is disputed and the electoral process fails to do conclude or Trump goes a different route (insurrection act, martial courts or EO 13848) then yes is still very much on the table. Or any other scenario where Trump gets sworn in on Jan 20th.

@ryohaz This bet is neither. If I was you I wouldn't put any money on this because the bet host made it clear on multiple occasions that it'll be decided by wishy washy decision logic. I'm starting to get the feeling that this entire site is like that. Not saying that it's a scam site but if you're vague enough with the wording of your decision logic you can get away with just about anything. Even explicitly lying to bettors in the comments about the decision logic.
