Description

What will be the result of the 2020 United States presidential election?

Decision Logic

The candidate that wins 270+ Electoral College votes at the 2020 presidential election will be settled as winner. Any subsequent events will have no effect on the settlement of this market.
__
If no candidate wins 270+ Electoral College votes, we wait and the person chosen as President will be settled as winner.
__
If Trump or Biden are replaced as candidates for any reason before the election this proposition will be settled as a Republicans vs Democrats proposition.

This says resolved but I don't see payout. Has it done payout for anyone or is it still awaiting resolution?

FYI SCOTUS are required to take the case when cases of state vs state the scotus is the originating jurisdiction. They can choose to move on quickly after taking it with a per curiam opinion, but that is very unlikely now that it's 19 states.
red-green 2:27AM, Dec 10, 2020 UTC
It's bout to go down.
endnoteacronym 12:32AM, Dec 10, 2020 UTC
We're in the eye of the storm now. Lets see what SCOTUS decides :)

Can someone get betmoose to reverse the resolved status
Pnmuk 12:31PM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
The only fixed day in the U.S. Constitution is the inauguration of the President on January 20 at noon
Pnmuk 11:39AM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
Decertification is possible when SCOTUS is involved anytime before January 20
Pnmuk 11:26AM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
Btw: according to Jenna Ellis, the PA lawsuit was not refused to be heard by SCOTUS, only the "emergency injunctive relief" part was denied. The case is still on the docket. So all of this about the case denied is fake news.
Pnmuk 11:17AM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
We still have a long way to go electorally you should wait for January 6 2021, but I believe congress will decide POTUS matter
Pnmuk 11:16AM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
Sidney Powell announcing “We should have at least 3 states before the Supreme Court by the end of the week”, who followed Arizona lawmakers calling for the decertification of false election results, that was met by the Arizona Supreme Court agreeing to hear a Republican challenge to mail-in ballots, and legal experts now saying: “The Constitution demands that the Presidential race be held on a specific day (the first Tuesday in November) and should be completed on that day
kolotoure77294 7:39AM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
Supreme Court threw out PA case to stop certification. There is one case left (the Texas one) should get a ruling on Thursday. Its a laughable case which will be quickly thrown out by supreme Court. Then that'll be done and dusted, electoral college votes Monday.

My bad

Javan 12:39AM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
@red-green Republicans are almost worse than democrats. MAGA party FTW
red-green 12:03AM, Dec 9, 2020 UTC
I DONT LIKE TRUMP , but I do like the republican party, except the Trump #$# kissers

His whole plan was stupid from the beginning. Instead of running a legit strategy to win, he rushed ACB into SCOTUS and started sowing distrust in an attempt to obscure the validity of the results, thinking that his packed-court, which he's so against if liberals do it, would step in and be his little b#@%$.

@Javan soon as the case is concluded SCOTUS will shut Trump down once and for all, if SCOTUS can b@#$ slap someone, your about to see how that looks.
Javan 11:03PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
@red-green Liberal judges make rules, constitutionalist follow them. Fortunately the latter have the majority.. but we will see
Javan 10:40PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
@red-green I don't understand what you mean. is there another SCOTUS case I'm unaware of? The only one regarding the election or Trump is a lawsuit contesting the results of the 5 key battle ground states..
red-green 10:37PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
In fact, your bout to get put on BLAST by SCOTUS in their final statements. Save this comment cause I'm plastering it all over my new PS5. Its gonna say SCOTUS RULES!! Get it? Cause they make rules.
Javan 10:36PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
@red-green lol okay
red-green 10:31PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
Ain't nobody scared of SCOTUS.
Javan 10:18PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
CORRECTION.. Arizona has not joined the Texas case. They have separately contested the election under article 2 and 3 of the constitution which is actually a bigger deal. They straight up said "**** is fraud".
Pnmuk 10:16PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
SCOTUS will rule before new year and appointment of POTUS will happen shortly after by congress
Javan 10:11PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
Nice, Louisiana AND Arizona have both joined the Texas lawsuit. Getting good..
Javan 10:01PM, Dec 8, 2020 UTC
@red-green lol you're not getting your Playstation
