October 3 Edit: This bet has been open since Joe Biden dropped out of the race 2.5 months ago and has had its time-multiplier seriously decayed since its creation. As a result, both sides now provide less than satisfactory odds, removing an incentive to place a bet. Decision Logic

Consensus between major media outlets (CNN, NBC, Fox, etc.) on the candidate that won (270+ electoral college votes). If the outcome is contested, then the payout will be delayed until the certification of electoral votes by the US Congress on January 6, 2025.

Trump tried to change the votes to make himself king and said he could terminate the Constitution. Praises dictators and violent authoritarian crackdowns and jokes about wanting to be a dictator himself. It's seriously disturbing that anyone still supports him.

Oldest candidate in history, who tried to change the vote to make himself the winner, has openly advocated the termination of the Constitution, is a convicted felon, and picked a VP who openly advocates violating the Constitution and wants to withhold all military aid to Ukraine, vs the Attorney General he once donated $5000 to because she was doing such a great job.
