Description

The Ever Given, a container ship almost as long as the Empire State Building is tall, ran aground in the Egyptian canal on Tuesday after being caught in 40-knot winds and a sandstorm. It has blocked 30% of global shipping, with ships now being rerouted around Africa. Authorities are desperate to excavate and refloat it, and are said to have their next chance at high tide on Sunday or Monday. Other reports say the earliest the ship could move is Wednesday. How long will it actually take?

Decision Logic

The resolution will be the date the Ever Given exits the canal (determined in UTC, not local time). If for some reason the ship is dismantled, the resolution date will be when it is cleared out enough that a ship with a beam of at least 30 meters is able to pass through the canal.

Ships are passing through the canal, this has already been resolved 2 weeks ago as "March". Please create a new proposition for when the Ever Given would be allowed to leave rather than being detained. It is not 'stuck' however.
