This bet will end on August 10, 2020, one day after the end of the 2020 summer olympics. The country that won the second most gold medals of the 2020 olympics according to results provided by the International Olympic Committee will be deemed the winner. If any gold medals are in dispute and those disputes effect the second most ranking of gold medals by country, the bet will continue until those disputes are resolved. In this bet National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and non-NOC teams are also considered countries. "Other or tie" will win if two or more countries tie for the second most number of gold medals. "Other or tie" will win if a country not listed as an option wins the second most number of gold medals.
