Congressman Ryan Zinke, who was the Representative of Montana's only congressional district, was tapped by Trump in January to serve as Secretary of the Interior. A special election has been called to fill Zinke's now vacant seat. Montana is a pretty red state (56% Trump vs 36% Hillary in 2016), but some think a backlash against Trump could sweep the Democratic candidate (musician Rob Quist) to victory against the GOP candidate (businessman and 2016 gubernatorial candidate Greg Gianforte).

Will the Trump wave continue? Or will the Democrats make gains into GOP territory?

Decision Logic

The winning party will resolve as YES. If neither Democrat or Republican win, Other will resolve as YES. Bet will be settled once a final vote tally is in which settles who the victor is.

In the very unlikely chance that one of the candidates drops out and is replaced: if a replacement candidate (e.g. a different Democrat replacing Quist) wins the election, bets on that party winning will resolve as YES.
