Description

Will the market value of 1 Bitcoin (BTC) reach $20,000 USD on or before 12:01 am (CST) on November 23, 2018?

Decision Logic

Coinbase will be used for price verification. Early resolution is possible. "Yes" - bitcoin reaches $20,000 on or before November 23, 2018. "No" - bitcoin does not reach $20,000 on or before November 23, 2018. Bet runs until October 23th, 2018 and resolves noon on November 24, 2018.

And what if Coinbase doesn't exist a year from now? What if it turns into the next Mt. Gox, or mintpal, etc. It's not uncommon for a cryptocurrency exchange to flop due to hacking, scamming, bankruptcy , etc. So why would this bet be so dependent on one exchange? I will pass on this. Thanks.
