On December 14, 2024 some Flat Earthers along with some Globe Earthers are going to Union Glacier Camp at 80 degrees Southern Latitude as part of the-final-experiment.com. Being the Southern Summer, the Globe belief demands a southern sun that just circles the head of someone in Antarctica at 80 degrees south. The Flat Earth model demands the sun covers the entire earth in 24 hours and so from Antarctica the sun must not circle but both rise and set.

Decision Logic

The possibilities are 1. YES they will see and report a 24 hour sun that circles the heads of observers in Antarctica or 2. NO, they will not see and report the 24 hour circling sun. No would also include the trip being canceled and not happening for any reason. Or the sun not being able to be confirmed due to weather. The decision is based on the consensuse of those who travel on the-final-experiment.com

Thank you once again for resolving this honestly, Jeran. I apologize for my previous comments which may have been a bit untactful. It's impossible to know if anyone truly believes what they say, but of all the flerfs you are at least one of the less dishonest ones. If you genuinely believe this stuff I hope you can come around one day.

I am trying to end the bet as the outcome is now known but I can’t find the option for closing the bet. If it is because the date has not got here yet then maybe on that date I can close the bet as YES the 24 hour sun was seen. @team you can close the bet please outcome is yes. Let the YouTube video I posted below serve as proof for the BetMoose moderators in case Jeran changes his story later, he admitted to a 24 hour sun. Flerfs are near-universally horrible and dishonest people, so I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to resolve this bet the wrong way.

We're going to leave this one open however please note to all bettors to read the decision logic carefully. Specifically, the host specified the 'NO' condition winning on the event itself being cancelled or no observations being made. This makes this bet a weather gamble more than a flat vs round earth observation.
