Description

There were 16 7.0+ earthquakes somewhere in the world in 2016. So far in 2017, there have been only 2!

Decision Logic

If there is another (3rd for 2017) 7.0+ earthquake in the world by May 1, 2017 12:00 EST according to the USGS website referenced above, then the bet will be resolved as "yes." There is a possibility that the bet could resolve early.
