Description

Will the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF finally officially be accepted by the SEC in 2017? The SEC has yet to rule in favor of accepting or declining the Bitcoin ETF. Will it occur before the year ends?

Decision Logic

Official word of the acceptance must come from a legitimate source. Examples of sources: The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission website: http://www.sec.gov/ . Or the Winklevoss' website: http://winkdex.com/
The ETF must be accepted by December 31, 2017. Outcome could be determined sooner if the official word is announced. Then betting will be over.

@protus We cannot reduce the deadline when there are existing wagers on the prop and it has a time-multiplier. We can close this early if you'd like, or you can recreate it and we can cancel this one (since you only have 1 wager on it for now).

A problem with this proposition is that most of the outcome variance will disappear in 9 days or sooner.

Ambiguous. If the SEC fails to act by its final deadline and the ETF is then automatically permitted by default, it will be "accepted" (decision logic) but not "accepted by the SEC" (title).
