If you wanted to only use closing day prices, please in the future make it explicitly clear as to the source, the timezone (eg: UTC), and the fact you're only looking at closing day prices.

I see the intent however the issue is with your decision logic which states "The bet resolves as YES if the price of Bitcoin goes above 900.00 any single day before the outcome date". This does not explicitly state the "closing" daily price; to us, it reads as "if it goes $900 anytime during any day" which could be easily misunderstood by other bettors.

The daily price is set on the end of day (UTC time). My last bet was placed with an hour left when the price was around 914. If the price went down 2% and stayed there I would have lost my coins. My first bet was 11 hours before outcome.

According to the criteria (and common sense), if the bet resolves early, it should resolve at the beginning of the day where the outcome is reached, otherwise people have the ability to bet on a known outcome. We do not recommend making bitcoin price bets where the daily close rate is used.

Sorry sent a dupe comment delete one just noticed the Ticker hit 900 at 20:00 on the 22nd but re-reading the criteria it should be settled on the 23rd as it is recorded at 914 for the daily ticker price https://www.bitstamp.net/. (The second part of the outcome The bet resolves as YES if the price of Bitcoin goes above 900.00 any single day before the outcome date) Points to the 22nd though which is where I was muddled.
