Georgia Special Congressional Election - Dems vs GOP

Since Tom Price, the former congressmen for Georgia's 6th congressional district, was picked for Trump's cabinet, a special election is being held on June 20, 2017 to determine who will take his place in the Congress. An open primary was held on April 18, 2017, and Karen Handel (R) and Jon Ossoff (D) were selected for the runoff. Democrats haven't won this district since 1977, but in the primary, Democratic candidates took approximately 49% of the vote, while Republicans took 51%. So this is as close as they come folks.

The election's also shattered the previous record for campaign spending, with already $40 million spent on TV ads alone.

So, who will win?

The winner will be the candidate elected as the congressman of Georgia's 6th district in the US House of Representatives. Whether or not that person is actually sworn in will have no bearing on the outcome. Results will be easily accessible through any major news outlet (NYT, WaPo, etc)
