Description

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was established in 1987 to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners. Its primary purpose is to sponsor and produce debates for the United States presidential and vice presidential candidates and to undertake research and educational activities relating to the debates. A third party may get in the debate other than Democrat and GOP nominees.

Decision Logic

Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson and/or Jill Ellen Stein the Green Party's presumptive nominee for President of the United States in the 2016 election may get into one of three debates if poll at least 15 percent. Three debate dates are Monday, September 26, 2016, Sunday, October 9, 2016 and Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Only need to be in one of the debate for win and bets may be resolve early if first third party or both get on the debate.

If both Gary Johnson and Jill Stein get into the debates, will those who bet on "Gary Johnson" or "Jill Stein" lose their stake. Yes, since both got in the debate. Bet isn't for all three debates. Just the first debate if and when a third party candidate get in the debate.

If both Gary Johnson and Jill Stein get into the debates, will those who bet on "Gary Johnson" or "Jill Stein" lose their stake, even though they predicted their candidate correctly? Does "Gary Johnson" mean "Only Gary Johnson"? Decision logic is unclear.

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) is rigged by DNC and GOP to keep out the third party. Only one third party candidate have ever gone on the debate. If all three third party candidate get on the debate which is very doubtful, all bets will be refunded. We be lucky to see even one. But it would be the greatest miracle in the history if there were 2 third party candidate in the debate let along three.

What if there's Gary, Jill, and another third party?
