SCOTUS decides in favor of APPLE

Samsung and Apple are embroiled in an intellectual property dispute which has made its way through the US court system. The following issue is before the supreme court: Whether, where a design patent is applied to only a component of a product, an award of infringer’s profits should be limited to those profits attributable to the component.

The course will decide the case in the present term which ends JUNE 2017.

YES pays if and only if SCOTUS upholds the FULL AWARD won by Apple in the previous appellate case.
