Description

The Senate and House must pass a tax reform bill by December 31, 2017 before 11:59 PM E.T.

Decision Logic

If President Trump veto the bill, that will have no bearing on the outcome of this bet. If President Trump doesn't sign the bill before the end of the year, that will have no bearing on this bet. The only requirement, the bill most pass both House and Senate and be ready for President Trump to sign for this to resolve as YES. Otherwise, if no tax reform bill is passed, it will resolve NO. Results will be determined from web sites congress.gov, house.gov, and/or senate.gov. Early resolution possible.

Avalon, the conference committee must meet and hammer out a final bill that combines the two versions into one, then once that bill is sent to the presidents desk the bet terms are fulfilled. Right now there's two bills-one for the senate and one for the house.

The conference committee must be completed and a final bill passed for this to resolve YES. The bill should be ready for the president to sign, but this doesn't have to occur before the end of the year.

@eric2017, after the house and senate pass bills they have to go to a conference committee to iron out the differences before being signed. will this resolve yes if both bills are passed but the conference isn't completed? They can both pass bills but not be ready to sign because the contents are different
