The speaker has been facing pressure from some factions of a divided GOP to step down from his role as Speaker of the House. Some FOX commentators, conservative figures, and Trump supporters have backed this. Will Ryan leave the speakership by October 1st of this year?

Decision Logic

Bet will resolve as YES if Paul Ryan is Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives at 12:00pm ET, October 1st, 2017. Bet will resolve as NO if Ryan resigns, is 'forced out,' or otherwise leaves the speakership for any reason (medical, death, etc).

@Ben, o yikes, just got a notification saying it needed resolution and didn't check when the resolution date should have been. I'm sure he'll still be speaker in a month...enjoy the 2$ though!
