Description

On Dec 14, FCC voted to repeal Net Neutrality. However, the battle over freedom of the Internet is not over just yet. US Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said he will force a vote on a bill that would reinstate the Federal Communications Commission's net neutrality rules. Schumer plans to utilize Resolution of Disapproval under the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to override the action of a government agency (in this case, FCC). With only 50 days or so to reverse FCC's decision, will U.S. Senate pass a bill that can save Net Neutrality?

Decision Logic

The bet will resolve as "YES" if the U.S. Senate passes a bill that concerns FCC's recent repeal of Net Neutrality by February 14th, 2018. Note that the bill does not have to totally annul the FCC's decision; only a partial restoration of the original Net Neutrality will suffice. The bet will resolve as "NO" if the U.S. Senate fails to pass such bill. early resolution is possible.
