Description
In the D.C. Jack Smith trial, former President Donald Trump has claimed presidential immunity against the prosecution brought by Jack Smith over the events of January 6th 2021. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case, with oral arguments scheduled for April 25th 2024.
Will the Supreme Court agree?
Decision Logic
YES - the Supreme Court says Trump has presidential immunity for his acts.
NO - the Supreme Court says Trump didn't/doesn't have presidential immunity for his acts.
This bet may resolve early whenever the Supreme Court issues its decision.
If the Supreme Court's majority opinion is mixed -- some acts have presidential immunity, other acts don't have presidential immunity -- or if no majority opinion is released, this bet will be voided and all bets refunded.
