The 30 day condition was not in the logic so it is not valid for this resolution. The ban happened around 5-6pm on Jan 8 EST, as such, we have resolved at that time. Congratulations to @p60091 for calling it early.

@praine well they frame it in the context of recent events as well. I do disagree with twitter's consistency on enforcing their policy though. he's violated the TOS countless times before, he just had a pass due to his presidential status.

Yeah @d_d, those few innocuous sentences by Trump merited a full blown multi-paragraph analysis in order that people can also follow the broken logic involved in twisting the meaning of it. Banning off of interpretations with an essay written buy some liberal arts professor, haha.

@freedom I just don't want the reasoning to be that it's specifically fair to me. But please consider that it's a permaban, and would still hold true within the first 30 days.

@xlfpx Correct this is a suspension situation if Twitter makes it a permanent suspension as per this tweet it is a Ban as Donald Trump will not be able to utilize his account. IF it becomes a permanent ban and is then reversed then the ban still counts https://twitter.com/twittersafety/status/1346970430062485505 Future violations of the Twitter Rules, including our Civic Integrity or Violent Threats policies, will result in permanent suspension of the @realDonaldTrump account.

So the current situation should count as "suspension", not "ban", right?

(Also Ban means it's deleted at any time in that month) Basically, it only needs to happen once and settles bet If twitter backpedals and decides hey we banned him and then puts it back online within that month The bet will still resolve as a yes since Twitter did ban him full stop. If twitter suspends the account and gives trump a strike or a week off but the account is otherwise still functional on the betting deadline Then the bet is resolved as a No

Yes Praine, I was going to add an exception condition in the bet logic that said if Trump announces a 2024 run then this bet resolves as null. Since twitter seems to have some tolerances for presidential candidates on the off chance they use that to keep his account around. That said since you bet already it is regardless of who is president on Jan 20, if Trumps twitter still exists on Feb 20 without being banned then it will resolve as No

You said 'within 30 days of Biden's presidency', but I am assuming that it still resolves to 'No' whether Biden is actually president or not. As long as @realDonaldTrump's Twitter still exists at the resolution time you have put.
