Description
In light of the recent events at the US capitol, there have been calls for Trump to be impeached or for the cabinet to remove him from office via the 25th Amendment. What will happen?
Early resolution only possible in the two cases of removal from office.
Decision Logic
Possible options are as follows,
Impeached, but not removed: The US House of Representatives passes new articles to impeachment for Trump but the US Senate does not convict and remove him from office by January 20th by 00:00 EST. This includes both the scenario of the Senate acquitting Trump and the Senate not reaching a resolution in time.
Impeached, and removed: The US House of Representatives passes new articles to impeachment for Trump and the US Senate convicts and remove him from office by January 20th by 00:00 EST.
Removed via 25th amendment: The VP and cabinet successfullly remove Trump from office by January 20th by 00:00 EST.
No: Any other scenario.
