Decision Logic
The candidate that wins 270+ Electoral College votes at the 2020 presidential election will be settled as winner. Any subsequent events will have no effect on the settlement of this market.

If no candidate wins 270+ Electoral College votes, we wait and the person chosen as President will be settled as winner.

If Trump or Biden are replaced as candidates for any reason before the election this proposition will be settled as a Republicans vs Democrats proposition.

@Pnmuk keeps drinking hopium. Article II of the Constitution grants state legislatures the authority to determine how presidential electors are chosen. There is 0% chance SC will overturn so many state and court of appeals rulings that it will push Trump over 270.

It should be 6 Jan or whenever EC votes are counted OR until the full contingent election process is over as outlined by the constitution if applicable. Period. Result certification is irrelevant. Until then the process is not complete.

6th Jan doesn't make me scared. it's just POINTLESS to wait once the result is known, locked in and guaranteed... And I expect once presented with the evidence, Avalon/Betmoose will agree that 8th December and Betfair settling their market is enough to settle all Betmoose's election bets. If Avalon/Betmoose disagree, so be it. FYI, I don't think the bet should be settled yet, which is why I have not selected a winner! But once it's locked in, I wont hesitate to settle this.

If by 8th Dec every state has certified their results, all lawsuits, recounts and audits have concluded and the results remain as they stand (306-232). If Repub senators have congratulated President elect Biden and President Trump has not conceded (he won't) but has announced a 2024 presidential run or otherwise announced the end of his contesting the 2020 election. If Betfair do pay out on or by 8th Dec.... Do you still object to Betmoose settling on 8th Dec? If so why.

No one doubted the results except you dorks that bet on trump... And it doesn't matter if votes were tabulated later this time, does that make it more secure if they count the votes in 2 days? There could still be fraud in fact there was more irregularities in 2016, but guess what they still didn't doubt the results. It's just cause you all lost so hard and embarrassingly. I would be ashamed too.

You settled ast time because all results were tabulated on election night while this time democrats conveniently took they time in some cases five days to announce results in some states this has caused doubt around the results with January 6 2021 being the only sure date

Betfair have not settled yet by the way, they have over $1bn bet on the election market. I will not settle before they do even if it means Jan 20th.
