@Hodgkinson My preferred solution is to wait as long as it takes for the final results. I merely pointed out that refunding would be fair as well, given the obvious ambiguity in the proposition here. I'm not surprised that you also had to resort to mean-spirited insults instead of remaining calm, though. As a leftist you may not want to accept that there is evidence of fraud and ongoing lawsuits investigating it, but that doesn't mean you should be calling people morons.

Trump absolutely did not "lose the general election" Eirik - at least not yet. There's no legitimate argument to be made here. This really is "that simple" as you say, but not in the way that you meant it. I don't know if the problem is that English might not be your first language, or you just treated the wording of this proposition with an incredible lack of care, but you had better believe that I will never trust one of your hosted bets ever again. @donuthole Both Ladbrokes and Sportsbet have paid out on Biden bets. Name the agencies that have refunded bets?
@Eirik I’m happy to wait for resolution, it’s the suggestion of voiding or refunding the bet that gets my blood boiling. Essentially we were all betting on either a biden win or a trump win and it’s fairly clear (except for ridiculous “Q” conspiracies) who has won.

Well BetCloud is saying they will pay out Biden if states declare Biden now, but will also payout Trump if recount is done/fraud is proven and Trump is ultimately declared winner.

Paying out Biden is good PR in terms of advertising of fast bet payouts. I don't think refunds should be issued unless legal counsel says the wording of the bets are logically flawed to the point legal counsel can't settle either way.

@Blackspiody "First you wanted this delayed until the result is official" the result isn't official because states need to certify the outcome, not CNN. PA speaker of the house has requested a full audit so clearly the fraud allegations have precedent. If Betmoose hasn't already done so it would be wise to consult legal counsel in this matter, all big betting companies would be doing this.

Your logic is flawed anyways, with the 'it resolves on election day', because it wasn't resolved on election day, because there was no result on election day, right? @kardus I agree with your post entirely. Refunding all bets - if done quickly - seems like a fair way to resolve it for everyone, given the unfortunate ambiguities here. So does waiting until all legal challenges have been exhausted, which in all likelihood is going to drag on into January. I just really hope they don't pull the trigger too early on this, as it would destroy the credibility of the site for many including myself.

One site I was betting on refunded everyone due to the ambiguity. Another paid out Biden wins but will honor any Trump wins (at their own expense I suppose) if the decision changes later. But these are fiat sites where the value of the money relatively stable. Due to the volatility of BTC, holding funds for 8 weeks can really hurt. So I think if everyone does not get refunded within the week, it should go all the way until the electoral votes are actually counted which is 6 Jan or later.

@Avalon said two things "electoral win" which legally means an electoral vote and "2020", so up until 1st Jan 2020 there can be all manner of recounts and court hearings until there is a conclusive legally binding electoral vote. What private news monopolies say is no way legally binding.

No election functions like that, perhaps that is how things function in your country, but not in America. The media calls Biden the "Projected" winner of the presidency, nothing has been certified. No other betting site has revealed a winner.

If they had, no one would have bet on this. I certainly wouldn't have. Perhaps it is more likely that you are simply nervous that the result of this election could still change. Other betting sites have fully refunded due to ambiguity with lawsuits and election interference. Therefore the winner may not legally be the winner and I was refunded in another betting site. Shouldn't betmoose the same?
