the media does not have the legal authority to decide who the president is. The call by the moderators on @BetMoose i consider to be premature based off of media projections.
This bet cannot be decided until one of the candidates concedes, the court lawsuits playout or the electoral college meets and casts their votes on 14 December.
What is @BetMoose going to do if everything going forward goes Trump and he is sworn in?

@AHamilton if he concedes then that's that, but calling an election when vote counting hasn't finished and numerous states are contested, just wow. Can't help but think confidence in Biden is waning.

"Media called the election" - so what? The media's opinion on the matter is meaningless. At this point, we have to wait for the litigation. In fact, this could conceivably go past Jan 20th if neither candidate is seated by then. We won't know who "won the election" until a candidate concedes or the next president is actually sworn in, which could in fact happen after Jan 20th under certain very unlikely circumstances.
